An introduction to my daily Vlog or... "How do I always seem know when I'm on the right path?" 11/21/17

It's the hot-mess moments that... to me, really have always put the cap on it.
I know this 'cause it's a past pattern that has always led me forward and to higher ground!
Whether it was the events before my move with my family's restaurant out to East Aurora or the start of my recording studio/record company... my transformational summer trip to Europe... the subsequent move to Geneseo... then Boston... then through California and back to Buffalo and Rochester here for the last 4 years!
I always know if I'm on the right path if there's been a quick tumultuous event (good or bad) followed by a quick hot-mess, followed by the most incredible "level-ups" you can ever imagine!
So... the video?
Oh yeah! Well, this idea follows that premise.
And anyway... when in Rome... Right??? Right!!!
Video IS our new reality after all and this online life-building that we all participate in really can make a lot of difference. In our own lives as well as in the World in general.
After a serious moment of reflection that stopped me in my tracks a few days ago, I immediately did a lot of soul-searching to find the root cause of the problem and to simply just try to DO SOMETHING about it!
I can't change the past. But... what I certainly CAN DO... is to try to change my future for the better. Which if you know me at all by now, you know this is totally typical of me. I am hyper-proactive. If there's a problem, and there's something within my grasp that I can do about it... well, I just will. That's all. Life is a puzzle... a riddle... to solve. And we should have fun trying!
This was something I should have started a long time ago considering I make my living through TV. There were a few suggestions from some of my station managers that this would be a good idea anyway. But THAT was eons ago! Won't they be surprised?!
Soooo, after the events of this past week, while driving to one of my new commercial accounts out in Alden on a "not-so-bad" Sunday afternoon, I thought... you know what? There's no time like the present to start. So why the hell not now?
Honestly, like most hard decisions in life... at some point... you just have to go for it. So I did. Typical me...
Yeah... I know. My "muppety", Buffalo born and bred "IT'S ALL RIGHT THROUGH-THE-NOSE" voice leaves a lot to be desired! Hahaha... Is it any wonder I ended up as a puppeteer? I say, I have voice best suited as a fiction author! 😉 But I've made peace with it a long time ago. Anyway, you'll get used to it! It's just not a typical TV voice. That's all. How I ended up in and on TV anyway, is sometimes even beyond me. It's really a long tale full of nutty twists and turns that I'm sure I'll be sharing with all of you soon enough.
So, what you'll get with these, is simply me. WYSIWYG! Just thoughts, ideas and updates I suppose. A running commentary and daily chronicle on what it's like to run a small, but (super-awesome... if I do say so myself), regional kids TV show.
So come along with me! My life is really one incredible adventure and It'll be fun!
Video is so much more intimate and easier to create than writing a Blog post every day. Although, I'm writing my butt off here... :)
Most posts will entail a short companion paragraph (NOT... this long!) but mostly I'll just let the video do the talking since that's the entire point of this whole thing.

Below is at least the written companion body copy that I was going to use to accompany it! One read and you'll surely understand why I am hesitant to release it.
"Maybe this wasn't the best place or time as I haven't even showered yet today and honestly woke up in the sweater I have on in the video. I am a hot-mess of a man this morning, but as I said up top... I didn't even know I would be doing this today, well... until I completely at the spur of the moment... decided too.
The station managers as well as my coworkers here thought it would be a good idea for me to let you guys into my world a bit. So, between their opinions and the personally transformative experiences I've had this week... well... it's high-time that I get my mug out there to all of you so you have some idea who this Man behind the curtain... really is."
