Spiritual transformation of lives through Christ’s love for every man, woman,

The Camp at Findley is located on holy ground where the veil between heaven and earth is thin, where generation after generation will gather and be called, nurtured, empowered, healed, and sent in the name of Jesus for the glory of God.
Located on a grassy hillside overlooking the tranquil waters of Findley Lake, Camp Findley provides people the opportunity to escape the daily routine of their everyday lives. For the past 80 years, the thousands of people who have attended the camps and retreats at Camp Findley have experienced the rest and renewal that the camp has to offer. The opportunity we seek to capture is the chance to continue the legacy of Camp Findley as a place for both existing and future patrons to use in this manner. Founded in 1936, Camp Findley has a storied history as a place where groups and individuals can get away from their regular lives to a place of fun and excitement, relaxation and renewal. A part of the Findley Lake community, the camp is situated in the village on 150 acres of forest and waterfront with lodge style housing and facilities for indoor activities and gatherings. In March 2018, the Camp Findley property was sold to new ownership, a local nonprofit. The new leadership team of The Camp at Findley, The Board of Directors, plans to continue to run the property as a destination for camping, retreats, weddings, and other gatherings. We have a vested interest in ensuring that Camp Findley continues its Christian ministry in Western New York and Western PA. The Board of Directors of The Camp at Findley is comprised of nine members; we are from four different denominations, four local communities, and two generations. We have One vision: Spiritual transformation of lives through Christ’s love for every man, woman, and child. Our mission is to develop the camp to be a safe and inviting place for the community, with programming that encourages mental, physical, and spiritual growth in every individual. The Board of Directors aims to create a regional awareness for the Camp Findley facilities through community events and the development of the camp’s facilities as a regional attraction. Drawing on an extensive network for volunteer and fiscal support, our goals include maintaining and renovating camp facilities to support its continued ministry in Western New York. |
